The mountains have always had a great significance for me. XL-nature with impressive mountains, green meadows, the ringing of cowbells. Eternal width. Infinite tranquility. Here I can breathe, when I need a break. Somehow heavenly. Because heaven is a little closer in the mountains? I don´t know. But here I enjoyed for the last three decades the holidays with family and friends. Here I make a timeout from everyday life.
If my views falls on the summit am Arlberg after the Flexen tunnel, I left Zürs behind me, the sign of Lech appears in front of me and I park the car at “Das Georg” I’m almost decelerates. The family-run 4-star boutique hotel of Christl Skardarasy is the most beautiful refuge on earth for me. In addition to the familiar atmosphere (not only my feeling, after 30 years, all the other guests knows it too after the first visit) especially Christls knack for slightly eccentric interior that blends so beautifully with traditional Austrian charm, what makes this place so special.
Now I write and I write and swarm from “Das Georg” and actually this should be an outfit post. But this has arisen in Lech am Arlberg in my favorite hotel. And when I see the images in front of me, I’m dreaming up again from my next stay. Now on the subject:

Jacket: I love this jacket Strenesse Blue, which I bought years ago from a colleague. It is perfectly cut to the waist, has great details and I love their soft costume charm. Simply fits perfectly into the Austrian mountains. I have not yet found a sustainable alternative. If someone has a tip?

Shirt: Although elegant looks are common here in the exclusive resort of Lech, I don´t like to exaggerate with my outfits.
