ANZEIGE

Doing good # 1: Inès de la Fressange x Petit Bateau

At the latest since the publication of her book “Parisian Chic: A Style Guide” is the French fashion icon, on everyone’s lips. Now, Inès de la Fressange has designed a Capsule Collection for the French traditional company Petit Bateau. The summit of two icons, so to speak. “Petit Bateau is my childhood. It is a cherished brand, completely timeless and lasting from generation to generation, “the Chanel model explains the cooperation. And with that she really is right.

Timeless French chic for me and doing good for human rights

I also buy from Petit Bateau. For my kids, for the children of friends. And again and again I also find timeless favorite pieces (like my blue and white Marinière). Here the material, the quality and the classic style never goes out of fashion.

So and now there is a très parisienne Capsule Collection with hand-painted Breton stripes on Marinières, Tops, Panties & Co. The proceeds of the exclusive collection come from FIDH, the International Federation for Human Rights. The organization has dedicated itself to the protection of human rights since 1992. It exhorts states all over the world to adopt the human rights directives. My favorite part – the Marinière – costs 79.90 Euro and is available at petit-bateau.de

Doing good # 2: Chaingang x Sara Nuru

Munich-based jewelery designer Julia Neumann has always met me in the past. In her boutique in the wonderful quiet inner courtyard in Munich’s Theatinerstraße. Or in form of her great jewelery. Just now I bought two friendship bracelets from her for my daughters. One with a sweet sheep. And the second with a shark. They will come under the Christmas tree and I am sure they will be worn for half an eternity.

Friendship bracelets demonstrate solidarity and support the needy people in Ethiopia

And now Julia Neumann has designed together with model Sara Nuru who has been an ambassador for “People for People” since 2009, three jeweleries for Karlheinz Böhm’s Aid for Ethiopia.

Sara Nuru accompanied three generations of women in Ethiopia for “People for People” and spoke to granddaughter, mother and grandmother. Now, together with Julia Neumann, she designed magical friendship bracelets of silver or gilded silver in Amharic script. They mean “protection”, “hope” and “dreams”. They stand for one generation and represent the three generations of women. These three terms form an invisible bond between the three generations of women – and between us when we carry them, expressing our solidarity. The proceeds of the jewelery support the foundation people for human beings – Karlheinz Böhm’s Aid for Ethiopia, which works for people in need in Ethiopia. Only the material value is deducted from the proceeds. Friendship bracelets “protection”, “hope” and “dreams” of Chaingang x Sara Nuru, between 29 and 39 Euro. Available at chaingang.de

Doing good # 3: TOMS x SOS Children’s Village

“No matter where it comes from, every child has a right to a safe and caring childhood.” With this Tanja Korn from SOS Kinderdorf e.V. is right. SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. has been working for refugee children and their families for years to promote their integration. Speaking the language of the country is a prerequisite for successful integration. The American company TOMS sees this as well. That is why TOMS supports the project “German lessons for unaccompanied minor refugees” with every sale of a shoe from its autumn / winter collection

Doing good with the purchase of winter boots

I am a bit late with the reference to this fantastic project, because it is only until December 24, 2016. But a look at the collection is worthwhile in any case, because actually the winter has just started.

Just now a girlfriend called me and asked what she could give to an eight-year-old girl for Christmas. I would have an idea: How about cool winter shoes or cuddly house shoes? The Godchild is happy and the “TOMS x SOS Kinderdorf” project is also supported at the same time. Doing good is double good, right? TOMS donates five Euro each for a sold pair of shoes from autumn / winter collection. My favorite children’s boots (about 36 euros) are by the way here
