Matcha has been known in Japan for over 1000 years and has been used by the Zen monks. They have finely ground the highest quality green tea leaves and then poured them. The monks knew at that time that a shell matcha, corresponding to the healthy ingredients, corresponds to about ten cups of tea. Thomas M. Gromer, founder of Kissa Tea, also appreciates this. The trained tea taster does not keep its enthusiasm for itself, but shares it with everyone who is interested in healthy lifestyle and delicious alternatives. In the middle of the year, the Viennese, with its innovative, young tea creations, has revolutionized the tea trade
But what is Matcha?
It is the highest quality tea in the world, made from the best of the green tea plant. The leaves of the Japanese Tencha tea leaves are ground into green powder in traditional stone mills after the harvest. The plantations for the best varieties are overshadowed that the ingredients are not destroyed by the sun. Cheap products taste bitter by the way.
Matcha – Power source with lots of best ingredients
The focus is on the evening on the Supermodel’s Secret of Kissa Tea, which owes its name to the Supermodels – as it could be otherwise. They swear on the green powder as a healthy beauty booster. Even ten years ago, Eva Padberg & Co. have been interested in superfoods, such as the green magic potion. The green tea star is extremely rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that fights free radicals that attack the cells. Plus: The healthy ingredients ensure a radiant complexion, shiny hair, support the stress reduction and the fight against viruses. Sounds good, right?
Good to know
One gram of matcha corresponds to the five portions of fruit and vegetables, which are recommended as a daily dose. Matcha is also suitable for cooking and baking.
As a passionate coffee drinker, I was, of course, skeptical. But at the end of the evening I was actually speechless. Okay, I drank a traditional organic Matcha tea, tipped a shot in espresso size, tested a non-alcoholic “Matcha-rinha” and ate lots of cookies – when I went home by bike after the event from the other side of the city, I could have continued forever. My tiredness was like blown away. At home I wrote after eight hours in the editorial office and afterwards the Matcha-Event just two posts and at 11.45 pm I noticed that I actually wanted to make a telephone call. As a caffeine alternative, Matcha gets the highest number of me. Whether he makes me more beautiful now, remains to be seen. But the hope dies last, as is well known.
