And here is the result of my cover shoot for Plan Shop

ANZEIGE

Of course, I said yes immediately. Great projects like Plan naturally gets every possible support from me. Until now always actresses appears on the quarterly magazine of Plan Shop. Now they had chosen, to work with real people, in this case a green blogger. And this blogger is me.

Cover shoot for Plan Shop

A few days later I discover myself in Hamburg, in the paradise conservatory of Wolfgang Gritzbach. His typical hanseatic town house, the photographer who supports the activities of plan for years, transformed with ornate, colorful and simply fantastic souvenirs from around the world into a realm of the senses. So beautiful that his private-location has been used for the last cover shoot.

Plan Shop: Fair trade with products from around the world

Here I met the rest of the team: the enchanting Coco Ax made my makeup cover fit (and I miss her now every morning, when I look in the mirror) and Kirsten Bartling of Plan Shop, which organized the shoot. The shooting was for the the cover of the fall issue in the warehouse district – with orderly wind (was a real challenge for Coco to tame my hair). I was almost sad when we shortly after noon had all motives in the box. Too bad, because I had so much fun with the team, that I could go on for days. And here is the result:

And what is Plan International?

Plan International is one of the oldest and largest child welfare organizations and is active in 51 countries. With the help of Plan sponsorships, individual donations and public funds sustainable self-help projects are funded that specifically strengthen the living environment of children permanently and help to protect the livelihood of families. Prominent supporters of Plan International Germany e.V. are i.a. Toni Garrn, Mario Götze, Udo Lindenberg and Jogi Löw.

Aid by trade: Plan Shop

Plan Shop, the subsidiary of Plan International Germany e.V., provides aid by trade – a system that I absolutely approve. Instead of short-term financial support and fundraisers working on site with small factories that are supported in developing and expanding. Fair wages and good working conditions are, of course, a prerequisite for the commitment. The generated profit is made available to 100 percent for Plan International Germany GmbH. Many Plan Shop products are made by women

What I particularly like is the fact that the products who are manufactured exclusively for Plan Shop are produced predominantly by women. To get mothers in poor and remote regions the opportunity to work at home, to earn a fair wage and take care of their children at the same time. With the Plan Shop income it is possible it must be paid not only fair wages. A portion is also reinvested in Plan-support groups, for example, support for the education of girls.

At this point, many thanks to the great team for the wonderful day and congratulations to Plan for the great work!
