Voilà, my winter shoe collection. And what do you wear?

ANZEIGE

Cold feet in the winter are something of “brrr” and therefore not a real option and that’s why you like to wear cuddly warm Ugg Boots & Co. But that’s not an option for me either. Even though I do not want to go into the production conditions of these winter shoe classics anymore. But they definitely do not fit into the category sustainable winter shoes. Too bad, because they are wonderfully warm. As we live here in Germany but not really in Siberian latitudes, I get along well with fur-free shoes. If it’s snowy, then my vegan Doc Martens will be used, on snow-free roads I’ll put on my sneakers with (or sometimes without) woolen socks or my vegan Budapesters and for some more elegant occasions my silver favorite loafer will accompany me from Nine to Five.

Sustainable winter shoes – stylish through the cold season

Even if you read over and over again that style icons, streetstylestars and Instragram millionaires have countless shoes in the closet – I don´t belong to any of these categories and may therefore also put on a small, but fine shoe selection. But every model is a real favorite, is used regularly and does not last a sad existence in the dark shoe cabinet. Because honestly, how many shoes does a person need?

# 1 Sustainable winter shoes: The all-rounder by Doc Martens

Aside from the fact that Docs always reminds me of my youth that has been around for some time now, the “combat boots” are still as timeless today as they were then. Yes, I bought them for my birthday two years ago and no, I have no midlife crisis. I just wanted a shoe that I can wear all year in all kinds of weather – except maybe from 30 degrees. Since then, my docs accompany me faithfully in everyday life, in the office and at events. Because the all-rounder is great to combine – even to skirts, culottes & Co. # 2 Sustainable winter shoes: the white classic from Veja

Sneakers in winter? Why not! As long as there is no snow, sneakers are always at my side as a 365-day choice – or in this case on my feet. They moved into my shoe cabinet last year when my beloved Stan Smith was slowly blessing the time. Obviously, white sneakers are part of the basic wardrobe and just as clear that the replacement of a sustainable label will be. I was jealous of the velcro fasteners on the shoes of my daughters for a long time and now I have my own. They say, “Mommy can we wear them when we grow up?” Me so: “Of course, girls!” Esplanar of Veja, around 110 euros. Available at veja-store.com

# 3 Sustainable winter shoes: The masculine Budapest of Bahatika

Okay, the vegan Budapest of Bahatika is not that masculine anymore. “Male inspired” would probably be the usual name in the relevant fashion magazines. But that is not wrong. With the great tip and the contrasting white sole (which gives me the few missing inches of leg length) I’m overjoyed. Perfect with pants, skirts (see picture above), just always. And they are also a real eye-catcher. Especially nice when I’m traveling with Marisa from myfairladies.net – she has the same model! And if two Green bloggers swear on it, there must be something in it 🙂 And if you’ve just fallen in love with it as well – unfortunately, the black model does not exist at the moment, but in white and camel, they also look outrageously good. Brogues “Bahawi” from Bahatika, about 145 euros at bahatika.com

# 4 Sustainable winter shoes: The elegant loafer from Nine to Five

Seen on the Greenshowroom in Berlin, waited until he went into production and then struck. The silver loafer is the H.A.M.M.E.R. No idea how many times I was approached to this favorite piece. However, I still remember exactly when I got a compliment for the first time and was asked after the manufacturer. That was exactly the very first use. Easter 2017 at Family Brunch. And since then, I have come into discussions over and over again because of my Nine to Five favorites. Just as clear, which I then held for a lecture on sustainable production and Sandra’s insanity label. Flooking for a little fame? Click here for the loafer “#lapa silver stone” (around 199 Euro) from Nine to Five

# 5 Sustainable Winter Shoes: The Glamrock Bootie from Nine to Five

Madness label – I just said. And that’s why another shoe from the Hamburg-based label has now made it to this page, even though, strictly speaking, it has no real right to exist. Of course, it is as sustainable as the other models and of course it fits perfectly into the category of sustainable winter shoes. BUT: It is so far only on my wish list. I have not bought it yet. But that’s just a matter of time, so it has its own right to exist in this post. Who finds it as fantastic as I do: The High Bootie “#star silver moon” from Nine to Five is available for 239 Euro at ninetofive.biz And woe one of you buys the last model ahead of me!
