Story<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

The denim label goodsociety<\/a> recognized early, that sustainable lifestyle and social responsibility<\/strong> can work in connection with fashion. Founded 2007 in the USA and since 2012 based in Germany, the label relies on organic premium products<\/strong>. Dietrich Weigel, managing Director at goodsociety, has worked with nomerous premium labels, and therefore brings his know-how to the eco- friendly label. The implemantion was successfull and has brought the label PETA<\/a> certification<\/p>\n

Sustainability:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Goodsociety only uses organic cotton<\/strong> for the denim, which is certificated according to the global organic textile standard(GOTS<\/a>). Genetically modified and pesticide intensive cotton is not an issue here. Washes work uncomplicated with chlorine, but leave a great damage to the environment. The goal was to completely refrain chlorine and instead use environmental<\/strong> ozone to enrich the collection with interesting washes. Pioneering Laser procedures<\/strong> and time-consuming manual work<\/strong> makes the Used-Look. The entire processing of the raw material, from yarn making to the finishes fabric takes place in Italy<\/strong>. Not only does this reduce transportation routes, but it’s also easier to control the production processes. Button, labels & Co. are mainly made from recycled materials. Another important topic is the CO2 neutrality which goodsociety is striving for. To compensate the CO2 footprint, the company suppports Treedom<\/a> (environmental protection company), in the reforestation<\/strong> of forest stands<\/strong>. All materials used are vegan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Social responsibility:<\/strong>
\nAlso partners in India, Pakistan and Turkey have commited themselves to pay attention to the environment and their employees. 25% of the profit<\/strong> is invested in the SA Foundation<\/a> which supports sexual enslaved women and girls.<\/p>\n
