The Story of Elsien Gringhuis<\/h2>\n

That they would align their fashion line ecological and fair,<\/strong> was for the Dutch designer Elsien Gringhuis<\/strong> and her business partner Simon Angel from the outset no question. And the success has proved her right. Already her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arnhem (ArtEZ) she graduated with Cum Laude.<\/strong> In 2009, she then shows her first collection at the Amsterdam Fashion Week and was enthusiastically received there. A great start, many international prizes and awards followed – from the Green Fashion Competition<\/strong> in Amsterdam on Fair Luxury Award<\/strong> to Createurope Fashion Award for the best avant-garde design<\/strong> in Berlin. Design fans and customers who attach importance to ecological and fair fashion, love the label alike.<\/p>\n

Sustainability:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The clothing of Elsien Gringhuis consists exclusively of materials that are certified GOTS<\/a>, Fair Trade (FLO) and \/ or \u00d6kotex<\/a>.<\/strong> Apart from the label used mainly natural materials<\/strong> such as silk, cotton, wool, hemp, compostable leather and bamboo. And yet another point makes the collection sustainable: The clear, purist cuts,<\/strong> the subtle colors and the good quality<\/strong> of the pieces are designed for more than just one season to look chic. Not every season a complete new collection is developed. Instead, there are base collections<\/strong>, which through additional styles – called Chapters<\/strong> – are complemented. The in the past designed clothes remain permanently in the range<\/strong> and can be ordered at any time<\/strong> by the customer. This is possible because Elsien Gringhuis is not producing in advance, but each part draws up individually<\/strong> after the order by the customer. The customer chooses a pant or a dress, order it, and only then it is sewn at Elsien Gringhuis in the Netherlands and shipped within a few days to the customer.<\/strong> More personal fashion couldn\u00b4t be.<\/p>\n
