With the glamorous GreenTec Awards<\/strong> – mentioned in passing a climate-neutral event – was on Sunday evening at the Munich fair IFAT, largest trade fair for environmental technology heralded worldwide. Dress code:<\/strong> Black Tie. The Food<\/strong>: Vegetarian (my favorite: Asparagus with potatoes). The Celebrity Density<\/strong>: high. Besides my personal idol, the environmental activist David Mayer de Rothschild<\/strong> (presenter for Recycling & Resources), Revolverheld<\/strong> (Music-Act) and my personal teenage hero Nena<\/strong>, on the XL-stage the who’s who of German celebrities honor. Before and after the award presentation was time to visit the stands of numerous sustainable exhibitors (among others my green fashion darlings Lanius<\/a> and Goodsociety<\/a>), to discover exciting products and projects and to have interesting conversations.<\/p>\n

My top issues on the GreenTec Awards 2016<\/h2>\n

Thomas D<\/h4>\n

As an old Fanta 4-fan, I actually thought that I knew a lot about Thomas D. Not even close. The exceptional German musician<\/strong> was awarded the Special Prize Music<\/strong> for its successful communication of sustainability issues and the authentic embodiment of the “Green Lifestyle”<\/strong>. With words like “Thomas D not warns, he does” (He collects for example the garbage on the roadside instead of worrying) and the name of the musician as “genuine sustainability”<\/strong> from presenter Christopher von Deylen<\/strong> (Schiller) and an eye opening Starter was a new, even fancier, Thomas D image drawn. His hope: that the green lifestyle finds its way into the mainstream of society. My conclusion from his attitude towards life: to take responsibility<\/strong> and be active.<\/p>\n

Had the chance to take a picture of fantastic Thomas D of German band @diefantastischenvier_official . He's such an idol in sustainable thinking, acting, living.
