Design duo with passion: Mathilde Feuillet and Melissa Knorr<\/p><\/div>\n

The story of Me & May<\/h2>\n

Melissa Knorr<\/strong> and Mathilde Feuillet<\/strong> got to know each other during their studies. Mathilde studied at the Esmod<\/strong> in Munich. Melissa is a qualified seamstress and has deepened her craft at the \u201cMeisterschule f\u00fcr Mode\u201d<\/strong> in the cut section. The two founded the label actually at random. They sewed what they liked and then organized a small celebration on the occasion of their first collection. Two months later, they were sold out. This was the starting signal<\/strong> for there label, which they named after the initial letters<\/strong> of her names. Me & May. The Y? This stands for the unpretentious and simple.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the two have a studio<\/strong> with retail shop<\/strong> in Munich-Sendling. There, the design duo develops the cuts and prepares everything for the last steps. Because the two collections can not be sewn by themselves because of the high demand for a long time. They are supported by a small sewing workshop<\/strong> in Poland. Because fair production<\/strong> and short transport distances<\/strong> are an integral part of the Me & May philosophy.<\/p>\n

Me & May in three words: Harmony – Personality – Creativity <\/div><\/div><\/span><\/h4>\n

What immediately catches the attention of the collections: the fabrics<\/strong> that are without exception from European manufacturers and the refined prints<\/strong>. Many of their fabrics, such as the beautifully woven blue-and-white jacquard fabric they have made to a kimono jacket, come from Mathilde’s home country France. The influence of the French woman is also not to be overlooked, because the collections have a lot of French chic<\/strong>. Coupled with the German accuracy<\/strong> of Melissa – a real Dreamteam. But in London, too, the Me & May duo find something, e.g. at Liberty. Here old English fabrics are put on again. The two designers process typical English Milleufleur-Prints & Co. with their modern cuts to an exciting mix of old and new<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Me & May philosophy<\/h4>\n

On what the two place value: soft flowing fabrics<\/strong>. Because only this makes fashion to favorite pieces and give women the opportunity to show their female side<\/strong>. The Me & May credo<\/strong> is: feminine, everyday cuts with the certain something<\/p>\n

With great attention to detail<\/p><\/div>\n

Feminine Favorite Pieces with Twist – Made in Europe <\/div><\/div><\/span><\/h4>\n

And so transparent silk blouses get a small border<\/strong>. Skirts are made with silver glittery rubber bands to comfortably elegant Everyday Darlings<\/strong>. Blouses with a feminine submarine neckline are lined with jersey cuffs and sweat bombers will be the relaxed blazer alternative<\/strong> thanks to refined finishes. The loving prints at Me & May are also eye-catching. Tame flamingos and wild tigers can be found among all sorts of jungle green on a casual jumpsuit. Countless XS lipsticks adorn a classic blouse. Sustainability is boring? Me & May definitely prove the opposite. Good to know: their clothes wear floral names from the beginning<\/p>\n

In the summer collection 2018 Me & May start with a knit collection from certified cotton.
