The sound of the wind<\/strong>, chirping birds<\/strong>, rippling water<\/strong> \u2013 all these wonderfully soothing noises tickle gently in my ear when I close my eyes in the evening at the Glamping Chateau Ramsak. And they are still there when I start recovering the next day. Sound\u00b4s nice? It\u00b4s a paradise!<\/p>\n

Two years after I have been to the wonderful Eco-Resort Garden Village Bled<\/a> and <\/span><\/span>were allowed to stay <\/span><\/span>a few nights in the tree house, were my expectations of the 2016 opened Glamping-Resort in Maribor accordingly high.<\/span> But one thing in advance: my expectations were even exceeded.<\/span><\/span> Six luxurious Glamping tents<\/strong> (2 or 4 persons), a majestic tree house<\/strong>, wooden paths and bridges, a natural pond<\/strong>, the dreamy country castle<\/strong> – the Wineyard Glamping Chateau Ramsak in the lush green vineyards near Maribor<\/strong> in Slovenia is small, fine and without question a green holiday paradise<\/strong>, an elegant Slow-Life paradise<\/strong>. Because it combines almost everything I see right now: lots of fresh air to finally breathe again<\/strong>, uncomplicated atmosphere, an extra portion Slow Life and nature<\/strong>, nature, nature! More “GREEN”-style I couldn\u00b4t wish for.<\/p>\n

Welcome to the Slowlife Paradise \u2013 Glamping Chateau Ramsak<\/h2>\n

My journey<\/strong> from Iceland via Copenhagen to Ljubljana and then to Maribor has deprived my already on reserve running batteries of the last power. The night on the plane my sleep<\/strong>. But for that I am now rewarded with a few days of paradise<\/strong>. Green. Lush meadows, forests, vineyards. In a beautifully elegant Glamping tent<\/strong>. With private jacuzzi<\/strong>. Calm. Feelings of happiness<\/strong>. Welcome to Paradise.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fantastic, but pleasing not just a dream!<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/h4>\n

First official act:<\/strong> Lounger. To look around. Close your eyes. Inhale and arrive. Second official act:<\/strong> Open your eyes and realize that I am really here. Fantastic, but pleasing not just a dream. And then? Open the suitcase, bikini<\/strong> out and down into the quiet bubbling, wonderfully warm jacuzzi<\/strong>. The sun<\/strong> tickles gently on my shoulders. The cold white wine<\/strong> waits on the table. Pure relaxation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is how relaxation feels<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/h4>\n

And the dream is not over. This is followed by an invigorating power-nap<\/strong> in the lounger, a few pages in my book<\/strong>, which I could not finish for much too long. Gorgeous doing nothing<\/strong>, enjoy the sun, recharge your batteries<\/strong>. After just two hours, I am restored. Like New born. And full of action<\/strong>. Finally, the green oasis<\/strong> has yet to be explored. Excursions to the eco pond<\/strong>, the vineyards<\/strong> and finally to the city<\/strong>, because doing nothing makes surprisingly hungry. And quickly back again. Because the wonderful tent lures with its porch, the jacuzzi, the rest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally time to read (and still the Suter!)<\/p><\/div>\n

After a few hours I am like newborn<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/h4>\n

With a glass of wine<\/strong> on the terrace, a wonderful day comes to an end. To listen? Nothing. To see? The delicate glow of the countless lanterns<\/strong> that illuminate the wooden steps and my porch so romantically and are lit every evening by hand. And just before going to sleep, I discover, even at dusk<\/strong>, the deer that lived here for ages.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eat and drink<\/h4>\n

Can one start a day better than with a full, veeeerry relaxed breakfast?<\/strong> You can. If it is on the wooden veranda<\/strong> of the own Glamping-tent with a view of the nature. And at the Chateau Ramsak every the day begins with a rich breakfast from the region<\/strong> – delivered to your own veranda. As a classic, vegetarian<\/strong>, vegan<\/strong> or gluten-free<\/strong> variant. For the rest of the meals, the resort recommends restaurants in the beautiful surroundings or the cultural city of Maribor<\/strong>, since the restaurant will be opened in 2018. And to the Slow Food<\/strong>, which will be available next year in the resort, there you also could enjoy one of the over 10,000 bottles<\/strong> from the fantastically sorted wine cellar<\/strong> in the cellar of the castle.
