Sustainability:

Goodsociety only uses organic cotton for the denim, which is certificated according to the global organic textile standard(GOTS). Genetically modified and pesticide intensive cotton is not an issue here. Washes work uncomplicated with chlorine, but leave a great damage to the environment. The goal was to completely refrain chlorine and instead use environmental ozone to enrich the collection with interesting washes. Pioneering Laser procedures and time-consuming manual work makes the Used-Look. The entire processing of the raw material, from yarn making to the finishes fabric takes place in Italy. Not only does this reduce transportation routes, but it’s also easier to control the production processes. Button, labels & Co. are mainly made from recycled materials. Another important topic is the CO2 neutrality which goodsociety is striving for. To compensate the CO2 footprint, the company suppports Treedom (environmental protection company), in the reforestation of forest stands. All materials used are vegan.

Social responsibility:
Also partners in India, Pakistan and Turkey have commited themselves to pay attention to the environment and their employees. 25% of the profit is invested in the SA Foundation which supports sexual enslaved women and girls.
