Almost too beautiful to eat - Hummus- and avocado sandwiches

When I got the call from Epi-food founder Felicitas Riederle, I was first unsuspected. Epi-Food? Sorry. Never heard. What she told me then, fascinated me maximum. And last week I was allowed to feast on a fantastic range of epochal, super healthy dishes in the Munich “Cantine Cantona” (known as a wonderful local food).

Besides delicious superfoods like acai bowl with fresh berries, a wheatgrass matcha bowl and Overnight Oats they had locally sourced, organic breads from the Hofpfisterei (Munich-based among the readers knows that there is no comparable bread!) With red- beetroot spread with feta crumbles, avocado cream with toasted pistachios and classic hummus with parsley. Small, incredibly delicious poffertjes (for all who do not know: Mini-pancakes) with syrup and / or chocolate, eggplant and feta rocket salad … Well, getting appetite? I couldn´t resist to take one of these delicacies and have tried everything. Again and again.

So what is Epi-Food?

You can protect and heal, if you live an appropriate lifestyle and subsists with a specific, very simple concept. And here begins Epi food. It is a nutritional and lifestyle concept, which goes back to epigenetics. Epi-food consistently avoids damaging three (plus superfluous) product groups, which are often used in the classical kitchens and inflict on the people more harm than good.

And for those who wants to get yourselve in this incredibly delicious and healthy enjoyment: Alexandra Stech and Felicitas Riederle, the two power women who work as Show cooks, align caterings. We have to thank for the fantastic recipes, they also offer cooking classes and they willpublish a cookbook in January 2017.
