A steady growth in exhibitors is at least a cautious sign that the sustainable, or, as I (interview follows) agreed interviewing Fair founder and current creative director Magdalena Schaffrin, is quality fashion on the rise. There are not only to keep discovering new exciting Fairfashion Labels – also innovative materials and fantastic collections of “old friends”, in addition to the great conversations with the great fashion designers and the Salonshow (more about that in another post) always a highlight on the Greenshowroom.
Fairfashion darlings in Berlin
Jungle Folk (my favorite new discovery): The Power Girls from Zurich produce timeless onesize-favorite pieces in Peru, Colombia and Bosnia. In the sky blue wrap skirt I immediately felt in love.

Great new discovery: Jungle Folk from Zurich
Jan ‘n June: As XL fan I am particularly pleased to Juliana and Anna and another their gorgeous-clean (and still affordable) Fairfashion Collections. Favorite piece? Every single part! And therefore there is at this point “only” the mood board!

Maravillas Bags: fantastic vegan bags of pineapple leather – Made in Mallorca. Clutches, Bucketbags, Weekender – from maximum sustainable materials Christina Bussman Otte has conjured a fantastic collection of bags.

A small pineapple – is now a Clutch: Maravillas Bags
Johanna Riplinger: vegetable colors are vibrant, the creative German says with own studio in Paris. They react to sun, rain and moon. And that’s why she will prepare exciting topics at Fashion Week in Paris with color expert Flavia Aranha.

German couture from Paris: Johanna Riplinger
Flavia Aranha: The Brazilian experiments in her own color kitchen with vegetable dyes. What comes out? Fascinating and unique designs on delicate summer dresses and tops, that are as pretty as a picture that you want to hang as artwork on the wall. An interview with the plant whisperer follows soon!

Aikyou: Sustainable Underwear for Women with small breasts. Thus founder Gabriele Meinl occupied a small but extremely fine niche. The collection: refined and delicate! And it does not require rods and other support options.

Goodsociety: The German organic denim brand is an integral part of the Greenshowroom – and I’m a XL-fan of the super-sustainable and extremely well-tailored jeans. My favorite: the high-waist! Well, and all other models of course. Denim with a clear conscience!

DfC x Jan ‘n June: Discovered at the Salonshow and then closer inspected at the booth: What the 27-year-old has put together is incredibly clever and exactly the right way. From me: Thumbs Up! A detailed report will follow asap!

Mega concept: DfC x Jan ‘n June
Mud Jeans: I have still not managed to write a post about the fantastic Recycle tour of the Dutch. Made me so happy to meet the sympathetic crew in Berlin. And dreamed by the great denim collection.

Recycle heroes from Holland: Mud Jeans
Nine to Five x Black Velvet Circus: Countless stars and a moon – the High Bootie Star is THE shoe discovery of the season. Women and shoes received anyway an eternal alliance – but this design is the H.A.M.M.E.R!

Favorite shoe forever: Nine to Five x Black Velvet Circus
Deepmello: Rhubarb grows quick and easy. That tanning of leather with the extract of the roots is possible, we have to owe Deepmello founder Dr. Anne Christin Bansleben. That textile favorite pieces can be produced with refined rhubarb leather details, she has also been proved.

Tanning leather with rhubarb extracts for bags and Fashion: Deepmello
Elsien Grinhuis: … is the label that has to earn the high fashion price on the Greenshowroom for me. Refined favorite pieces that are made to order in Holland. I didn´t get to their booth this time, but have discovered favorite parts in the Salonshow (or backstage – report follows)! Fairfashion de Luxe!
