GREENSTYLE | MUC – it’s a happening!
Included are great labels that make fashion with soul. They could tell stories about their labels. And you can listen for hours. With a supporting program, with exciting talks, workshops & co .: from upcycling, less waste to the right recycling, from the repair service for jeans to a workshop on self-PR and crowdfunding for small sustainable labels. Of course there is a fashion show. We are currently working on an award in which, besides a jury voting, you are of course also in demand. And we will also party properly. Whom? Us as community, the eco-labels, the whole green movement!
Be the change you want to see in the world
Looking back on the last two years since I quit my editorial job at ELLE to expand my blogzine my-GREENstyle.com, a lot has happened. Quite apart from the fact that I’ve met an incredible number of great people who have turned their ideas, visions, and passions into reality. People who not only dream, but have dared to move out of their comfort zone. I’m part of a wonderful community today (here are some of my Greenfluencer buddies). A real movement that wants to change something. And finally, I am allowed to revolutionize. For the good cause. With Fair Fashion, I have found a topic for which I am most enthusiastic and for which I like to invest my time.
I write as a freelance author about sustainable fashion and beauty topics for glossy titles from VOGUE.de to VUE. I have been Fashion Revolution Ambassador since the spring of 2017. Together with my blogger friend Marisa from myfairladies.net, I founded the #FairFashionForward Blogger Lounge and in the autumn of 2018 I will launch two more sustainable milestones that will make the topic of sustainability bigger: Firstly I launch Green Fashion Tours in Munich and the other hand – see above – I organize with GREENSTYLE | MUC a Fair Fashion and Organic Beauty Fair & Festival at the Haus der Kunst.
In his speech after the fair-fashion move in Berlin in July, Development Minister Gerd Müller confirmed that I am on the right track in this regard: The movement around sustainable fashion must be decentralized and made larger. Here we go – it’s really happening!
