Fair á Couture: I love pure, sophisticated cuts

#WardrobeRevolution. Gorgeous designs, that express our individuality, underline our personality – fashion is beautiful. I have worked for 16 years as an editor for glossy magazines and occupied me in my private fashion passion beyond the topic fashion very intense. Eventually I asked myself, how can my fashion enthusiasm and my conscience agree. I have researched and discovered daily fantastic Eco-labels, that produce fair and sustainable and still meet my standards of quality workmanship and outstanding designs. To see, what is possible in the slowfashion business, has impressed me incredibly. This enthusiasm for sustainable favorite pieces and the great initiatives of fantastic Eco-labels have meant that I started earlier this year on the web my-GREENstyle.com.

Since then I have bought only sustainable garments which I combine with my “old” favorite parts. And I miss nothing. On the contrary. My new favorites can tell their own, good story. For example, with a QR code, thanks to the entire production chain can be traced back, with design experiences and educational initiatives such as the German label Abury, the personal relationship with the textile workers (“My Nepali Tailor is a Rockstar” – Studio Jux) or the fact, that the new favorite jeans was made compatible for people and the environment by goodsociety, the Hamburg-based Eco- denimlabel. Some great stories I tell here. And many great stories to come. It’s time for a #WardrobeRevolution

#WardrobeRevolution: Fair á Couture – pure, clean, minimalistic!

Fair á Couture: I love pure, sophisticated cuts

How to greet the spring better, than with blossoms delicate powder colors (Pantone color of the year: Rose Quartz!). To hide the little winter white legs, I have decided again today on the legging variant. In the future there is the Shirtdress hopefully only without trousers. So here is my clean Spring Look of a few, perfectly cut parts. All of them of German Eco-labels!
Blousonjacket hessnatur: For me, the Swabian Eco-enterprises is the absolute winner of the Year. With new designer and a radical change of course, there are at hessnatur immediately purist tailoring in muted colors. Just real favorite pieces. All GOTS-certified and produced according to the guidelines of the Fair Wear Foundation. The powder delicate blousonjacket (made of pure organic cotton) with the great turtleneck collar is – for all those who are as excited as I – on sale and costs instead of € 249 only € 179. Buy here

Shirtdress by Jan ‘n June: The whiz 2015 because the two Hamburg-based of Jan’ n June were awarded not only with the PETA “Fashion Award 2015”. They have refilled with great, clean collections. The shirtdress ‘Emma’ from the Supergirl collection is a refined and minimalist basic in any wardrobe. From sporty to elegant, it makes easy the whole styling bandwidth and is – like the rest of the collection – by the way animal and environmentally friendly, 100 percent organic cotton produced. Also have? Shirt dress by Jan ‘n June, about 130 €. Buy here

Bag of Nine to Five: The attentive reader would have noticed it. Since the incredibly versatile, beautiful Boho Clutch of the Hamburg-based accessoire designer Sandra Schittkowski aka Nine to Five is in my possession, it does not differ more from my side. With shoulder strap as Crossbody Bag (incredibly important to me, as a mother of twins), handels off – and hey presto, a Clutch. Did I mention, that it also functions as a laptop bag (up to 13 inches)? Besides the fact, that it is made from vegetable-dyed calfskin with salmon leather details, it is incomprehensible alone sustained due to its multifunctionality – a bag, three functions. What more do you need? Boho Clutch #angel black salmon from Nine to Five, by 129 €. Buy here
